Open Day
Our open day was a great success. We timed it to coincide with the launch of Newark in Bloom.
The Town Mayor and Mayoress joined the Chairman of Newark in Bloom at Newark Castle to plant sunflower seeds in the parterre and then walked across to The Wharf and looked at all the improvements at the Castle Barge and Pizza Express. Jenni from Andy Olive Photography has worked really hard to get all the businesses and residents of the small area involved to make it a pleasant place to go and sit and enjoy the river.
Then they came up to us at Eton Avenue for coffee and homemade cake.
